I recently opened one old conversation and I was very badly suprised. Messages were in wrong order and the conversation didn't make much sense.
So I opened the XML file holding the history and what a suprise, the order of messages was correct. However the times of messages were not correct. For example, according to these times, my reaction on a message came 20 seconds before the original message. And as Kopete orders messages by this time when displaying history, the result is not very readable. I guess it is more likely a bug of ICQ, but it is not very pleasant. I would like the Kopete history plugin to display the messages as they are in the XML file. The second solution would be using correct times, when I receive or send a message. But I don't know how ![]() |

This is most definitely a bug in Kopete's ICQ implementation. Please file a bug at bugs.kde.org.

There already was this bug filed, I just overlooked it when I was looking for the solution. But nobody seems to be trying to do something about it. |

It is possible that those involved in Kopete are busy at this time, or are looking at other issues.
