How to disable KDE Desktop Sharing?

Sat Mar 06, 2010 7:02 am
This is very frustrating. I do not know how this "feature" was enabled; I do not want to see this pop-up every time I login. How can I disable KDE Desktop Sharing?

Make sure the "krfb" isn't running when you logout. In addition, make sure it isn't enabled in its configuration dialog ( it shows as an icon in the tray )

Thanks for the information. I had to kill "krfb". It wasn't showing up in the System Tray. When I logged out then back in, it was gone.

This helped me big time!! Turns out I did have a system tray icon and it must have stuck since the first time I ever launched the desktop sharing app. I am so glad it is gone now! It feels like a new pair of socks just got put on me feets!
