Hi,
I've decided to opt for Kubuntu, so my default messaging client is now Kopete. It seems fine, other than one of the key features of other instant messaging apps does not appear to be present or at least not in any obvious way. I want to open my Hotmail Inbox, but I cannot see how this can be done. I've checked through the various preferences and configuration options, searched online and checked the documentation - the topic headers make no mention of opening the Inbox. However, from various web searches, it seems that it should be possible. Can anyone help me out here? I'm really trying to love Linux, but lots of things seem to be too much like hard work...! Don't even get me started on resuming from sleep/suspend and connecting Bluetooth headsets. Thanks in advance. |

Kopete is a generic client which is capable of using many other protocols without this feature, such as Jabber, Yahoo, etc. In your case, I would recommend a client geared for use with MSN, such as KMess.

Thanks very much.
Kmess seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. |
