I live in an area where we loose our links sometimes many times a minute. Sometimes we are fine. I am trying to find a way to have kopete automatically establish connections after it has disconnected the connection. I want to have kopete keep my connection unless i tell it to go offline. It should automatically connect by itself if you loose a network connection :)

I couldn't find this setting in it when I checked, although I would expect it to acknowledge its connection to the server had been lost and to re-establish it when the internet connection becomes available again.

I would recommend first upgrading to KDE 4.4.2, then filing a bug at bugs.kde.org if you can still reproduce.
