How do I set Kopete to show my buddies' full name instead of their account name in the user list? They're all from the YM network.

At least tell me if it's just me who is experiencing this.

It is possible that Kopete wasn't able to retrieve their full name from the Yahoo Network. In this case, editing their contact and adding the name should fix the issue. ( Having limited experience with Kopete, I am not sure where the option to edit contacts is, try right clicking on their entry )

I'd prefer Kopete to do that automatically for me since all the other clients I've used before does this automatically. It also isn't practical to edit each contact if you have a big contact list.

Which version of KDE are you using? If you are using KDE 4.4, this could be an Akonadi related breakage. Are you aware of Kopete's behaviour prior to an upgrade to 4.4 if you used it ( and assuming you currently use 4.4 )
