I was thinking about joining a chatroom at conference.jabber.org when all of the sudden I realized that there was not an option to do that in kopete. Am I wrong? if there is one, can someone help me out or lead me to a place where I can learn how to do that?

rightclick your jabber account entry/icon in the statusbar of the contactlist and choose "Join Groupchat..."
