I didn't find right kind of topic for discussion about Rekonq so i created new one for user experiences.
I find it quite good as it is now. Version 0.4.0 So of course it's not ready and it has some bugs in it. Things that i like: - Nice favourites site at start and when you open new tab. - Addressbar works as progressbar as well. - No extra statusbar at the bottom. - Quite fast - For KDE desktop - Simple and clean I really hope that this is going to be good browser for KDE in near future. Have you tried Rekonq and how you like it?? |

Rekonq is really good. Version 0.4 introduced integration with KWallet, so it was a major step towards being the preferred web browser. Another yet to be implemented feature (at least for me) is forms' history (there's feature request for that too). Once this is implemented I can convert completely
Other things missing (again, for me) are just for sake of usability (eg. configuring toolbars the KDE way, separate threads for tabs). |

What i missing atm is a plugin system like chrome and firefox. All my bookmarks i save on google bookmarks so that i can load it everywhere i go with a plugin.
If the plugin system is there with some usable plugins i make the switch from chrome to rekonq.

That is good news. I made the switch already, Chakra made the switch to become a QT only distro and installed there latest alpha iso ( rock solid btw ). So chrome and firefox are a no go atm for me till there new bundel system is there.
