KMail SMTP password like POP

Thu Jul 01, 2010 2:38 am
Is there a way to get KMail's SMTP to remember my password until I close KMail like it does with POP? I don't like using KWallet or having any application remember my passwords anymore. With POP, KMail asks for my password once and appears to use it every five minutes to check for new mail. SMTP doesn't do that; instead it asks for my password every time I send an e-mail.

Well, I guess it's not so bad since KWallet uses encryption unlike Mozilla.

Configure KMail>Accounts>Sending>Advanced>Store SMTP Password
