Since version 4.2 of KDE I'm not able to connecto to VPNs, Mobile nor DSL via knetworkmanager. I'm able to create connections, they do appear listed, but when I want to connect to it, click won't work, it seems to be disabled. Am I doing something wrong? I need to change something somewhere?

I'm now using Kubuntu 10.04LTS(KDE 4.4.2)

On the other hand, WiFi and Ethernet works just fine. Most certain I'm missing something :(

Thx for your help! It's very annoying to use different apps for each connection >:(

Have you tried removing and recreating the VPN/Mobile connections with the latest release? A previous release may have created insufficient settings, causing it to fail.

certainly. This version was installed on a clean disk. I've refer to KDE previous version because it had worked.

I had do put this line in /etc/rc.local:

Code: Select all
rm /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state

There's a bug in networkmanager, not in the gui-part. might solve your problem, might not.
