I use Konqueror like usable ftp-client. But now I can't connect to ftp servers. Error messages - "Unable to initialize the protocol ftp" (this is translation from russian to english, because I have not an english version).

How can I fix it? Please, help me.

PS. I try to re-install Konqueror - this not helped me. Other ftp clients work correctly.

are you using a proxy? If I configure K to use a proxy it can not connect to ftp sites I get "The requested URL /pub was not found on this server."
