I'm trying to make a simple style for Kopete and want to apply

white-space: pre-wrap;

on message text to preserve spaces*. However Kopete inserts file transfer message and buttons there too. And the code it generates for this has line breaks for some reason.

Is it possible to change this other than recompiling it? If there was at least a class for those elements' parent to style them differently.

* It does matter sometimes for code and some other things.
