How I can create a default connection in the kde login?
I have a ethernet configuration with IP manual and check "connect automatically", but knetworkmanager always connects "auto eth" with DHCP for default, ignore my setting. The problem is in kde 4.3.5 and 4.5 (with the new knetwrokmanager) Thanks. |

I am also facing this problem. I would have thought selecting the static configuration to connect automatically would solve this issue but it doesn't.

You may wish to report a bug at bugs.kde.org.
This likely occurs as your eth0 interface is brought up automatically by the DHCP based system connection, and since it is already connected, Network Management does not activate your per user static settings.
