Setup:
KDE 4.5.1 Kopete 1.0.80 OpenSUSE 11.3 (kde installed from Factory repo) I turned off auto hide in the notification widget so messages will stay on the screen in case I walk away from my machine. That seems to work for other applications that use popups but with kopete, the popups expire after a short time, and the only indication I have that a message is waiting for me is the tray icon looks different, which I tend to miss until 30 minutes have passed since the message was sent. Any reason why this might be happening? |

Applications can request that their notifications expire in a certain amount of time, which Kopete might be doing.

That's kinda what I thought. What I'd like to know is if there's a way to make the popups from kopete never expire. It seemed that before when I was running KDE 4.4 they stayed up forever, now they don't.
