wi-fi with hidden ssid....

Sat Oct 30, 2010 11:33 am
I've seen about two version of ubuntu, where kde was unable to connect to networks with hidden ssid.
There, network interface changed, and the problem persists. I add the network to the list, but it won't display in the connexion list...

Seriously, that bug in one version was already not normal, but 3 version ?
Come on !

The latest version of the NetworkManagement plasmoid (used in KDE to control NetworkManager) should be able to make use of hidden networks (I see them in the network list at least, but I haven't tested).

What version of the KDE workspace do you use? Which version of the network applet? Are you using the plasmoid or knetworkmanager?
