krdc - mouse pointer painfully slow with Window 7

I have used krdc to connect to a large number of Windows XP computers with great success and reasonable speed.

But when I connect to a Windows 7 computer the mouse pointer has a PAINFULLY slow response. I move my mouse and it might be up to 10 seconds later that the pointer on the screen moves.

It makes it almost unworkable.

Yet I can connect with a Windows XP Remote Desktop client to the same computer with great response.

Is there some way to configure krdc to respond better? Or is this a bug?

P.S. the Win XP client is actually running on a Virtual Box run of XP on the same Linux box that krdc is having the problems with. So it is definitely not the network connection.

Are you using RDP or VNC? In my experiences with TightVNC, the cursor does not lag.

krdc uses rdesktop to perform RDP access I believe.

I found a solution - change the Windows 7 Mouse Pointer scheme to None the response improves drastically.
