Today I swithced on my PC. After KDE started Kopete said:
"The password was wrong. Please, re-enter your password for ICQ account" I tried a few times. No results. After I went on icq.com and logged in using my current account without any problems. Last night Kopete worked nice. No packages were installed, no KDE configs were changed. What's going on? P.S. Then I tried ICQ7 messenger. It connected OK.

Same problem here, using Kopete 1.0.80
Probably ICQ changed something in the protocol.
Murphy's Law is recursive. Washing your car to make it rain doesn't work.

Fix (changing server domain address) worked for me too. |
