Does kmail support yahoo imap? I see here:

That yahoo has some non-standard imap requirements having to
do with “ID ("GUID" "1")”.

Has kmail been updated to deal with this?

I suggest you contact the KDE PIM developers directly for this information. I don't think it is likely that KMail will have this change at this time, as it would probably cause incompatibilities with regular IMAP servers.

I am also looking for answer for this. Really, I wanna connect to yahoo imap using Kmail.

I Just tested and didn't notice any issue, everything went well without any hack.
Even with KMail 1, everything should work.

Beside all that: it is pretty much a Yahoo-issue/problem.
Just like Microsoft creating it's own standards. Therefore i think Yahoo should help it's customers out. (Of course it is wonderful everything seems to work.)
