KDE 4.4.4 (relaese 3) Kopete 1.0.0 Custom notifications do not (anymore?) offer the option to notify if a user has gone OFFline or changes status. Options are: Contact gone online Low priority messages Incoming message Incoming message in active chat Highlight Outgoing message Is this intended? Are the options user/admin configurable without touching the source and recompiling? If user/admin configurable, how or where do I have to make changes? -S |

I can see Offline and Status Change in Kopete 1.0.80. Not sure why - maybe it's due to a regression in 4.4.4, or it could depend on which messaging service you use.

It's the same in Metacontacts as well as single-protocol only in MSN, ICQ and XMPP.
Just to be sure: I am talking about custom notifications per contact. |

Hey,
The same with here.. It's enoying. But what is also irritates me the most is the notification when somebody types a message... I have to stop doing my work every time it pops up. How can i turn it off? I tried many thing, but for now noting works. Helppp Greets Sakina |

Apologies, I missed that in the first post. I can confirm that Offline and Status Change are missing. Did you have those options in earlier version of Kopete? If that's the case, I would file a bug at http://bugs.kde.org.
Settings -> Configure Notifications... -> Typing message -> uncheck the options you want to disable (Play a sound, Show a message in a popup etc.).
