I got the following scores for Konqueror on WebKit on html5test.com
QtWebKit 2.2.x (Slackware 14.0 and higher; Kubuntu 12.04, 12.10; openSUSE 12.2, 12.3; Debian Wheezy, Jessie, and Sid) 304 out of 555 when the flashplayer-plugin is installed, 299 without it. The difference is due to HTML5 local storage being enabled when flashplayer-plugin is installed. I tested on Slackware 14.1 and Kubuntu 12.04. QtWebKit 2.3.x (Kubuntu 13.10, 14.04; openSUSE 13.1, factory; Fedora 19, 20, rawhide; Mageia 3, 4, cauldron; Arch) 405 out of 555. I tested on a live DVD of Fedora 20 KDE Spin. QtWebKit has made some big progress in HTML5. However, the HTML5 score still trails Firefox 24esr by 31 points when tested with a WebGL app installed. The following are the ECMAScript Language test262 scores at test262.ecmascript.org: KHTML in KDE 4.10.5 4150 fails out of 11578 QtWebKit 2.2.x 940 fails KHTML in KDE 4.11 & 4.12 896 fails QtWebKit 2.3.x 4 fails The KHTML score improved greatly in KDE 4.11. The WebKit score became almost perfect in QtWebKit 2.3. By, comparison the score in Firefox 27 is 43 fails. |

I just installed openSUSE 13.1 on a USB hard drive with KDE 4.12. On the HTML5 test using QtWebKit, I got a 385 out of 555. The difference in the score with Fedora 20 is due to Fedora 20's live DVD including location and orientation support, which is not included in a default openSUSE KDE install.

I built QtWebKIt 2.3.4 on both Slackware 14.1 and Debian 7 stable. I have a html5test.com score of 387 on Slackware and 385 on Debian. The only difference is that the kwebkitpart that I am using on Slackware has prefixed support for Input: Gamepad control. The css3test.com score on both operating systems is at 54%, The css3test.com score on KHTML is at 18% in KDE 4.8.4 and KDE 4.13.3.
