Hi! I'm having problems authenticating shared folder using dolphin (I understand that this way is different of configuring smb.conf for samba server)

I've configured mi Kubuntu to authenticate my user using kerberos (installing libpam_krb5 pack) (for use with Active Directory)
(i don't know if this has anything to do with the problem)

When I want to login from a remote user to a share, it ask me for user and password but fails always. I've tried with smbclient, it returns "session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE"
I've tried domain password, local password, nothing work.

Can anybody help me?

To understand a little more: Dolphin "dynamic" SMB shares are defined in /var/lib/samba. Who serves this shares? i think is not smbd. who is it? it is aware of the PAM configuration?

Thanks! hope you can shed some light...

Best place to start looking would be Samba's logs I guess. It depends on the distribution. My guess would be /var/log/daemon.log or /var/log/auth.log however.
