Hi,

I have a strange bug on my brand new installation of kubuntu 11.04. When I close a chat dialog I can't open the main kopete window anymore. I can see Kopete icon and name over the message notification area but nothing happen when I click it. A contact told me that I went offline.

If I try to relaunch Kopete via the kde menu here what it looks like:

I didn't modify the screen shot to hide my contacts, it's really how Kopete looks like. I can interact with the ui but I can't chat with my contacts. Kopete tells me that they are not available. The only way out of this is to go to file -> quit and then everything is fine again on the next launch.

As I said I'm running Kubuntu 11.04 with barely anything installed (I'm pretty sure I installed nothing else except firefox and ati proprietary drivers) and the included Kopete 1.0.80. My computer uses a Intel Core i7 860 cpu and a ATI Radeon 6970 gpu.

Is this a known issue?

This sounds like a exit on last window closed bug. If you have the contact list up when closing the chat dialog, does this occur?

Just tried it with the contact list up and didn't have any bug after closing a chat dialog.

Ok, this is probably a known issue then. I would recommend using this as a workaround for the moment.
