I have tested the OTR plugin and it sorta works (i can't read anything with a sniffer). However, IIRC part of the original plan was also to prevent someone from reading the messages when gaining physical access to one of OTR-enabled machines. I mean like reading the logs. Pidgin at least has an option of not logging OTR conversations, while there's no such thing in Kopete, all logs are in clear text even when OTR plugin is disabled.

Is there a way to encrypt OTR logs? Maybe some kind of master password on an OTR plugin or something... Or at least turn off logging of OTR conversations?
