How to start knetworkmanager?

Mon Nov 28, 2011 2:50 pm
Hi Folks,

Newbie here. I have DBUS, NetworkManager, consolekit all added to the run profile. When I log in my wireless network works as expected, I can get onto the internet fine. However, I have no knetworkmanager icon in the taskbar and I have no idea how to start it. Emerge tells me that its installed and up to date? I assume the stardard NetworkManager is getting me online but I want the ease of use of a GUI interface. I configured the network in "Network Settings" in the systems panel.

Any help appreciated.

Many Thanks.
