I do have a big problem. I try out Fedora 17 KDE (a RedHat based first for me) and could easily set up Kaffeine incl the firmware for my satellite card and the personal files like channels etc.

However, when I click on the menus the following happens:
Menu 1 (Datei abspielen): *.wav: OK, *.mp3: no sound, *.flv, *mp4, *.avi: no sound, no image,
Menu 2 (play Audio-CD): «Cannot find input plugin for MRL "cdda://"», a self-compiled CD works, a commercial one as well (however the copyright is from 1988
Menu 3 (Video-CD): I can not check, because I have none
Menu 4 (Video-DVD): with DVD in: «Cannot find input plugin for MRL "dvd:///dev/sr0"», no sound, no image
Menu 5 (Satellite-TV): see picture. I have all channels, can even see the actual program guide, but no sound, no picture.


Do I have to download some codecs? If so, please can someone help me with the place I can find them?
