I have installed Mageia 2.
I wanted to use K3B to rip my cd's in MP3 format, but so far cannot do it.
There are three encoders listed in the Plug-In section of the config menu: External Audio Encoder, Ogg Vorbis, and SoX.
Where to I get the MP3 encoder, and how do I install it?

do you have lame installed?

yep.......liblame0

you might also need lame

......just installed lame.....IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
