Balance between left and right speakers

Hello all my friends and very very thanks for kde developers to provide great graphics , i think better than all operating systems


KDE 4.8 Fedora 17
First :
I am new to KDE Desktop but not to linux , how can i balance left and right speaker volume , my right produce more sound and left less
is there any utility to handle sound for kde DE

Second:
kmix does not run when i click on kmix menu

Any help

KMix is the application one would usually use for this. Once started, it should appear in your system tray (simply click on it, and press Mixer to get full control).

Once open, right click on the appropriate mixers and ensure "Split channels" is checked. Then adjust as needed.
