some additional info may help
- what video player(s)?
- what type(s) of video?
- if you use the same player as in Gnome does it help?
- what output driver are you using (found in the player's preferences)

if you disable composting alt+shift+F12 does it help?

which Intel drivers?

there is a 2.20.x intel driver series see if you you can find and install it

try a different player, sMplayer is also real good

do you have this issue with non .avi files? other avi files?

if you disable composting alt+shift+F12 does it help?

I have not tested the solution, just found a possible method here.

Code: Select all
kdesu kwrite /etc/environment

add lines:
CLUTTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling
CLUTTER_VBLANK=True

save and reboot

Detailed description of the bug can be found here.

Sorry guys about this core truth

I am using Linux for 3 years , i think linux is only for security , i mean internet servers,hacking like stuff but it is not suitable for graphics like stuff

Only 20 - 25 % persons donates to open source community so How we can expect graphics (pure 3D )from Linux .

I am trying to solve this issue for 4 mounths but not succeded .

Sorry Linux , now i will have to move on to windows

Find it strange that others aren't posting this problem as it's not that unusual a hw setup, did you as on Fedora?
