Clementine and remote collection

Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:39 pm
I use Clementine with Mageia 2. My mp3 collection is on a NAS device. Clementine handles tracks streamed from Matgnatune without any problems at all, but when I try to access my stored tracks, I'm told that my library is empty.

I've tried pointing it to the correct directory (which is constantly mounted) and telling it to do a full re-scan, but nothing appears to happen. The library remains empty.

Anyone any ideas?

JFYI: Clementine is not a KDE application, and they have their own forum here: http://groups.google.com/group/clementine-player

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

As it turns out, there is no problem. I had failed to notice that the path it was searching was an old path. Replacing that with the new one gives me all my music again, and I'm happy again.
