Non-Wacom Tablets, KDE / QT

Thu Jan 03, 2013 7:46 pm
Has anyone added non-wacom support to KDE / QT yet? I want to use programs like Krita and such but last time I looked (a year ago), only GTK based software such as mypaint and gimp could handle pressure-sensitivity under linux. Even if it isn't part of the main branch, is there a distro which has a patched version of Qt? Im not a techy but I could run a virtualmachine i think.

Well, why non-wacom?

I own a wacom bamboo pad, and preassure sensivity works fine under KDE, with the xf86-input-wacom wacom kcm pcakages installed. The wacom has to be plugged in when starting krita.
