Hello, I was using ALSA-only setup until today on my system and it has always worked without issues, but today I switched to PulseAudio and now, scrolling on KMix has a delay of ~1 second before it actually updates the sound volume. To be more clear about this:
1. I scroll over KMix and the volume percentage updates immediately.
2. There's a delay of ~1 second.
3. After the delay is when my sound/music goes up/down.

Any idea how to debug/fix this issue?

I'm a Gentoo user and asking about this in #gentoo @ freenode there was another user having the same issue. As I couldn't find anything directly related to this behaviour in Google or bugs.kde.org I thought it would be better to ask here first before posting new bugs over the bug trackers.

Thanks in advance.

If you try under a new user, also with Pulseaudio enabled, does this occur there?
