This is my first time using KDE as my desktop manager. I'm using arch linux as the base installation. I'm not getting sound from Amarok. I went to the system settings and the multimedia but I don't have a hardware tab. I can see that it is using the wrong sound card and everyone says to go to the hardware tab to change the sound card setting. Is there a button you have to check somewhere to get the hardware tab to show up?

Do you have PulseAudio installed? The SystemSettings -> Multimedia -> Audio and VIdeo Settings -> Audio Hardware Setup tab is only there if you have PulseAudio installed, which should be default on Archlinux: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
