Hello,

I don't find controlling volume separately any use to me at all, and it only mess up the volume all the time. From time to time I can't maximize the volume of an application by using the keyboard hotkey and then I find the its own volume was stuck at 30% (alsa in kmix).

I can't see the point of control volume separately as every app has its own volume control even if I run a virtual machine I can control its volume in the virtual machine.

So I wonder,

Can I just have a normal volume control like in MS windows, where there's only one main volume to scale up and down. I'd control volume individually with the app's own volume control?
