How to control 3 different monitors

Thu Apr 02, 2015 6:53 am
Lenovo Thinkpad x240, docking station, kubuntu 14.04
3 Monitors with different pixel numbers
- internal
- external 1 (Dell) VGA connector
- external 2 (Dell) VGA connector
Graphic card: Intel

x240 outside the docking station - display is correct
x240 in the docking station and no external monitor is connected - display is corrected
x240 in the docking station and external monitors are connected and lid of notebook is closed - system regards the internal monitor as a part of a multi-monitor configuration.
The docking base has a VGA and DP outputs

Desired situation
When x240 is in the docking station and the lid is closed, the internal monitor should not be used, but one external monitor should be the main monitor and the second monitor should be an extension of the first monitor to allow application windows to be moved to the second monitor. Second external monitor is located left of the first external monitor.

What kind of script do I need to control the monitor in die KDE environment?

I appreciate your help because I am still a Linux newbie.
