Being one of the last holdouts for alsa without pulseaudio, I wonder how many others have noticed this.

I have a ".asoundrc" which defines a number of alsa devices. In previous versions of KMix they would all be listed under the "Device Preference" tab in "Audio setup" and I could assign them to the various categories. With KMix 15.x.x, the only device that is listed is "Default". I have circumvented this problem by downgrading KMix to 4.14.3 which then properly lists all the available alsa devices. As time goes on and KDE4 becomes a distant memory I imagine this solution will become problematic. The question is, is this behavior in the new KMix an oversight? A bug? A "feature"?

By the way, I am speaking specifically about KDE5 on openSUSE Leap 42.1.
