Okay guys, don't make me go into Windows 7 to do this LOL. I have been trying to watch youtube video via HDMI, and at some point want to do presentations to alternate monitor. Right now can only show video to Flat-screen tv, and only the tv, can't manage to have them both show at same time. It would be much easier to have both, so that all could be configured without seeing the tv, but will do for now.
The issue I am having now is, No Sound to tv? I have tried ALL settings in every sound device there is. The thing I notice is, there is no HDMI Recognized in alsamixer, or the "KDE Control Module", or "Select Master Channel" in "Kmix". I think it has something to do with my old laptop. I was looking at this link as a solution but not sure it would help to create this "asoundrc-hdmi" script in my home directory? https://www.maketecheasier.com/setup-hd ... -in-linux/ I am running Linux Mint KDE 17.1-64bit and laptop specs are here
