Hi,

My distribution currently has kde-applications 16.08, and the audiocd kioslave doesn't work with KF5 enabled applications.
According to http://developer.kde.org/~cfeck/portingstatus.html , this kioslave is more or less ported.

Anyone know whether it will be released with a future applications bundle? Or if anyone knows of a todo list for that to happen, I'd be happy to take a look at it and hopefully finish it off

It was ported after the deadline for the freeze of KDE Applications 16.08, together with other pieces of multimedia libraries. This means that it will included in KDE Applications 16.12.

Last time I looked: there is Audio IO slave configuration in the system settings but the kio is not working with the Dolphin.

It depends on what you mean by "finished" (see the last comments on the bug). The port is (basically) done but it is not part of any stable release yet.
