Could anyone explain how to generate an index.theme, etc. for icons (or other things?) People on kde-look.org forums say there is a(n) (icon) theme editor and to read qt documentation, but it is not apparent where that editor or documentation are. It does not seem to be kde icon editor or any qt program (which I tried each of) or extra kde one, and qt docs (which I read much of) seem written only for scientists.

I would prefer a text-line-sized taskbar allowing unicode character(s) icons; I do not like most GUI elements, including almost all icons from any GUI, but if text is not allowed, the next usable thing is my own icons.
