I have built and installed Minuet from github source. (I presume it is version 0.2 though this is not reported from the command line.) The program installs flawlessy as it reports that I have all the requirements. The program does not start if it is run from the GUI. If I run it from a terminal it reports, "Could not find a suitable SoundController plugin!" I see that the following are installed:
/usr/include/minuet/interfaces/isoundcontroller.h /usr/lib64/plugins/minuet/minuetfluidsynthsoundcontroller.so My environment: KDE Plasma 5.9.5 KDE Frameworks 5.33.0 Qt 5.7.1 Kernel: 4.10.14-200.fc25.x86_64 Any advice or help appreciated |

I finally got it to work with the help of tosky.
The problem is that the Qt runtime environment isn't configured to use non-system locations (such as /usr/local used as CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX by default). To solve this, source this script : https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_an ... nvironment using /usr/local as KF5 and QTDIR. You can then use Minuet. |
