Hi,

My mother has a laptop and whatever sound controller i use, the microphone volume increase byitself.
Volume of headphone, or speakers do not have any issue...only the microphone volume.

The same issue she had under ubuntu 17.04 and 17.10 and she use kde plasma 5.
I checked the standard volume mixer and also tested it with KMix but everytime is the same issue.

When we do Video conference/call, the volume of microphone increases by itself. We use hangout (so gmail video conference) but the same issue what under Skype (even if the option to auto-adjust volume of microphone is unchecked).

Any idea how to solve this issue because we are going mad with that issue ?

Without KMIX on my computer, i have the same issue as my mother. The microphone volume (standard KDE mixer alsa) of my webcam increases alone.

What's going on ?
