I have a Dell laptop. I have KDE 5.12.4 on Kubuntu 17.10. I have an external monitor (TV) and speakers. I've gone in and changed my output in the Audio Volume Settings, to output to Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output. I have Quake 4 installed natively on Linux using the old ID script but my audio only comes out the laptop speaker and I can't alt-tab out of the game to adjust the audio output. Is there somewhere in the KDE files that I can edit it to output to HDMI? Or any other suggestions?
