As the title says, Please change the KDE sound system. I like the KDE desktop, but the way sound and devices work is an absolute headache. If I run the Gnome desktop I can switch output sources and input sources on the fly easily with no trouble, but not KDE. So often I must close applications and log out just to change the output source or because it won't recognize my headphones until I restart the computer. Now if I was the only person to have this trouble I would then say it's me, but I am not the only one, this is a problem and an aggravation for everyone I know that runs the KDE desktop ... so please do something about it. Is there an option to install a alternative sound system? I am running Opensuse Tumbleweed, but this problem is the same no matter which distro I use.
