Well that worked for me, but the issue repeated when I reboot the kubuntu. What could it be? Currently running Kubuntu 20.10, Plasma 5.19.5, Kernel: 5.8.0-29, NVIDIA-SMI 455.45.01 |

The solution I mentioned above, it just doesn't apply to Neon apparently as they have a newer pipewire package. In short: remove pipewire (unless you use Wayland where you need it)
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Sorry for my stupidity, but I dont even know whether I need it or not...I just installed kubuntu 20.10 and this keeps happening. I did not know what Wayland is until right about now. I assume Wayland is far from ready and I definitely using Xserver now. So should I just do

That is what I wrote, not really hard to understand IMO... and if you were using Wayland you would know, as it is not the default UI FWIW: you are hijacking a Neon thread btw... Splitting the posts now for better use
