Hi,

Sorry if this question is in the wrong forum, but I could not find a forum devoted solely to ksnapshot (4.1).

I have a Tablet PC (Acer 302) running Debian sid, and have everything working well as a tablet PC (stylus acts as a mouse pointer, etc.) When I am in Tablet mode, the hardware keyboard is not physically available (it is covered by the tablet display)

If I want to use ksnapshot, I can start it, and select a region of the screen, but then, to 'commit' the selection, I am supposed to press the 'Enter' key...is there any other way this commit action can be coded, so I can trigger it using the stylus?

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance,

Here double clicking in the selection takes a snapshot and right click (anywhere) acts as Escape key, i.e., quits the "selection mode".

Running KDE4 from trunk.

EDIT: The red text seems to be wrong: right clicking does not quit the selection mode (at least not for me). I was fooled by the label that disappears when you right click.

Anyway, double clicking works. :-)

Hi,

Thanks! That does it. Did I miss this in the manual?

Thanks again,
Duane
