Hi,

I am running Fedora 10 with KDE 4.2 installed, but this was an issue when I was using the 4.1 form Fedora.

The issue is that when I watch a film and I press pause and play again, the sound is gone and restarting Dragon Player doesn't help :'(

The same happens in Amarok 2, but here I can't press play as nothing happens when I do. The progress bar will just be on the same place it was when paused. If I then close Amarok it will sort of stay in the systray as a blank icon and I have to kill it via the system activity tool.

I think it might be phonon, as I have received a message saying phonon stopped working and it falled back to pulseaudio.

If there are something I need to explain further, or if there's test or logs I need to show please tell me :)

I just realised that I posted this in the wrong category as it should be in the multimedia one. I'm so sorry for my noobish-ness :( Could anyone move it for me?

No problem, moved to Graphics & Multimedia. You are correct, the problem is Phonon. You can probably fix it by shutting down all Phonon using applications to reset it.
