My hd fill up and kde give bug!

Thu Jul 23, 2009 12:46 am
My mistake!

My hd was filled up, and the kde begans a gimme several errors...i didnt figured out at first sign what happened...but when i restarts...

Before the nvidia splash screen, the kde ask for login and password...but my session was enabled to auto assing, no needing pass..

When i put my login and password, the screen flashes and back to login screen!

I already clean some gigas from hd, but error continues

If i try to log by console, (startx) its even appear my mouse pointer, but the screen stay black...like root, same thing!

Some errors i find in console:

"error: server is already active for display 0...if this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again"

Others

xkbcomp reports: bad lenght in CompatMap Output file /var/tmp/server-0.xkm removed...waiting for X server to shutdown FreeFontPath: FPE /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc refcount is 2 should be 1: fixing

Some clue how about fix it?

You cannot use startx to start a login when you are using the graphical login manager. Please try to login again with the graphical login manager and post the contents of ~/.xsession-errors. ( if using a seperate machine to post, the sftp:// protocol will be of help in retrieving the file )
