Ok, if I understood correctly (and , please, correct me if I'm wrong) the idea is that we should have an universal enviroment based audio equaliser, that would affect all phonon using apps (and , yes, I mean Amarok ).

However, I cannot seem to find any recent news or relevant links about it. Only thing I could find is a 12 month old mixer code in trunk/playground (which, of course, doesn't work), and nothing else.

So, please, if anyone can tell me anything about it, it would be much, much appreciated.

Maybe it would be a nice Christmass present ?

Audio equalizers ( as far as i know, this could be entirely wrong ) at the moment would be implemented completely seperately ( more than likely some will make libkequailzer ). However no equalizer's can be implemented at the moment because Phonon does not support providing the data needed to make this happen.
