I'm running Fedora 11 with alsa (pulseaudio removed). When using Xine as my backend flash and speaker-test work at the same time, but amarok blocks both speaker-test and flash and speaker-test/flash both block amarok.
It seems like a conflict between KDE and non-KDE apps, but I'm not sure why... any ideas? Oh, and gstreamer as my backend gives me no sound at all. |

Are other KDE applications such as Dragon Player affected?
Also which version of Amarok is in use?
