Hi, I am using a M-Audio FTU and cannot find the device in KMix.

The FTU does not have any playback controls. Yet, in AlsaMixer it shows it as Fast Track Ultra. I cannot find it anywhere in KDE GUI though?

So, I do not have any sound.

Which version of KDE are you using? Have you been using KDE 4.4 Betas or Release Candidates from distro repositories?

The latest stable release of KDE from Arch Linux. Thanks for the help.

Please try opening KMix, then right clicking in a blank area underneath the name of your card and selecting Channels. Then enable all you think are needed.

When I open channels all that is listed is "Mic". Which is my logitech microphone that is set in alsamixer as default. No sign of FTU.

Try the following in Konsole:
