I have two DVD drives on my system and I'm running KDE Version 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4).
Only DragonPlayer and K9copy are able to distinguish which drive a DVD has been placed. Kaffeine, Xine, SMPlayer, MPlayer, and Totem simply get confused. No matter how I try to name the drive in preferences, these apps don't find the DVD. f it's in Drive one, it won't play until I drop it into Drive two. And vice-versa. I sure hope the aps gets updated for KDE4,because that's the only explanation I can surmise. |

Xine, SMPlayer, MPlayer, and Totem are not KDE applications.
Dragon Player uses Phonon, which in turn will use GStreamer or Xine depending on your configuration. A KDE 4 version of Kaffeine is in development I believe.
