Audacious mp3 issues

Sat Mar 06, 2010 1:44 am
Hi guys I have a problem with .mp3 files.. When I selected multiple files in dolphin to open, multiple instances of my player(audacious 2) were opened.. How can I fix it? My goal is to select a lot of files, and all open in a same player. It looks like to be easy hehe

This is caused by the file association of Audacious not using the correct replacement character, so KDE is not aware Audacious supports opening multiple files in one operation.

Please make sure the File Assocation for the file type in question is set to "<application> %F" instead of "<application> %f". File Assocations can be set in System Settings > Advanced > File Assocations.
